Testimonials

Football First’s coaching with Con Boutsianis has helped my shooting significantly in many ways. Con has opened my eyes to how many different shooting techniques there are and how successful they can be when needed. He coaches and demonstrates the technique in such fine detail. The training has helped my shooting to become more effective by improving power and accuracy amongst other things.

Hi my name is David Mckessy and I have been training with Con for two and a half years. Con has taught me a lot of things and improved my technique dramatically. Con is a great teacher because he explains things very clearly and shows you how to do it if you are struggling and he makes the sessions fun. The skills Con has taught me have improved my game and my free kick taking. And last thing, he is a great bloke in general.

"I am nearly 13 and Con has been coaching me for a year and a half.

Con is a great coach who teaches the things that most coaches do as well as what they don't. While he has been coaching me my skills have advanced noticeably, the areas I was once weaker on have improved through practice and the advantage of being able to see how things should be done. Con, unlike many other coaches is a very good coach because he can show you himself what he wants you to do with precision and this helps a lot.

I have learnt many different things from Con because he teaches how to be positive, maintain good fitness, how to control the ball at pace, how to be more balanced, and how to deal with set pieces in a variety of situations and much more. The fact that Con has professional experience and has played for his country tops it off.

He also pays attention to each individuals strengths and weaknesses.

All Con's criticism is constructive and being coached by him is fun."

"Con Boutsianis has been coaching my 12 year old son for nearly 2 years. Con is a talented and inspiring coach who understands boys and their motivation. His excellent technical skills enable him to teach by example. He has the gift of being able impart these skills to his students in an extremely effective way. He passes on his experience gained playing the game at a high level, using his great skill to demonstrate personally how to kick, control and manoeuvre the ball with great accuracy. He sets realistic homework targets each week as a challenge to his pupils to improve their abilities in their own time. My son respects Con, listens to him carefully and has fun at the same time as showing a remarkable improvement in his game."

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Con Boutsianis from football first for teaching me the right aspects of the game.

My father and I went to Con when I was 9 years of age, he taught me how to kick a soccer ball the way it should be kicked.

With Con's professional knowledge of the game and know how he helped me become a good soccer player.

Last year I played for the U12's Victorian School Boys which the tournament was held in Queensland.

In the tournament I ended up kicking 5 goals being the leading goal scorer for Victoria.

This year I have once again been picked for the U13's Victorian State Team, the tournament will be held in July 2008 in Sydney.

Choosing Con Boutsianis from football first as my personal coach, has helped me develop into a good soccer player.

One of my goals was to make the Victorian Soccer team and I have achieved it because of football first.

I would like to  personally thank Con Boutsianis for his knowledge and enabling me to achieve my goals.

James Karvelis.
